I cannot believe I haven't blogged about my wedding shoes!!! I am so in love with them that I want to wear them every day and it's been an emotional struggle getting them, but so worth it!
A couple months ago after work I decided to stop by DSW in Peoria to look at shoes for the girls and I for the wedding! I originally wanted us all to have the same shoe, but that obviously changed! I was looking in the bridal section and this pair of shoes was calling my name so without looking at the price, brand, or size I grabbed a box and took them out of the box and LOVED them, without even putting them on I was in love with them! So I found my size, put them on and was walking up and down the aisle in the store in them and was so excited I couldn't wait to tell my mom and sisters that I found my shoes! I immediately sent them a picture of them and this was the picture I had sent...
Notice the top of the box?? I didn't notice it until I was taking the shoes off (20 minutes later because I didn't want to take them off) and putting them back in the box! When I was putting the lid on them when I literally gasped EXTREMELY loud!! Remember I was by myself, so that was embarrassing, but I couldn't help it! I was almost in tears when I realized these were Disney shoes! I had NO clue Disney even had a shoe collection! I knew they had bridal gowns and stuff but not shoes!! So i called my mom and she told me to buy them right now! But I looked at the price and they were waaay too much for shoes that I could afford! But she had told me months ago that my dad wants to pay for all my stuff like my dress, shoes, veil, and jewelry! (: So I asked a guy that worked there if I could order these in white! He looked them up on the computer and he could get them in white but there were only 2 pairs in my size left!!!! Just 2!! But I took my chances! I told him I would be back the following weekend to order them!
My mom told me the next day that she was going to order them for me and not wait until the weekend, so she got online to order them and they were gone!!!! I was so upset!! We called everywhere and nobody had them! We were willing to drive to Indiana to pick them up but that store didn't have my size! About a week later me, mom and Lindsay went shopping in Peoria and stopped at DSW and ended up getting the ivory pair and settled with those! I still loved them, but really wanted the whites ones! So when we went to pay for them I acted dumb and asked if these could be ordered in white! The cashier got her manager and they started looking through their system to see who had them and they found a pair in another state!!! (: When she told us that all 3 of us gasped and got really excited! I even started crying and had to leave the store! I couldn't believe I was acting like this over shoes! I am not a hard core shoe lover! I love my flip-flops and flats, but I'm not obsessed with shoes like most girls are!
A couple weeks later I got a call from the store's manager with bad news! The shoes came but they had a blue stain on them...another bummer!! He said he felt so bad that another store would send a pair with a stain! He said he was going to search nation wide for these shoes for me!! So i was really happy again but I didn't want to get my hopes up if he couldn't find a pair! A couple days later I got a phone call and he found a pair with no stains or any type of marking on them and he said they were being shipped to the store again!! And here they are!!!!
The collection is called the Glass Slipper Collection and my shoes are the Cinderella pump!! (: PERFECT!!
And look at all the little details!! The blue gem on the bottom is for my something blue and there is an imprint of the Cinderella coach on the bottom too AND the inside of the lid of the box there was an envelope with this little card in there that says "Once upon a time a girl dreamed of going to the ball. The fairy tale beings with a wish, a dream, and an exquisite pair of glass slippers. Put these on. See what happens. Your fairy tale awaits!" CUTEST THING EVER!!!
ahhhh love love love everything about these and I can't wait to wear them for our big day! (:

You use too many exclamation points.
