I was only suppose to have a 3 day weekend but because Mother Nature is so confused on whether its Winter or Spring, it turned out to be a 4 day weekend! Friday I had the day off and spent it shopping, my retail therapy! the only thing i bought was a new watch! i'm in love! i've never been a watch person but i saw this one and had to get it! And it has my Chevron (:
I also picked up our wedding invitations which I'm so in love with! The colors are a little off but that's okay, they are very pretty and my sisters, mom, Sam, Missy are putting them together this weekend! We were going to do them at our centerpiece party but I decided not to and just do them on a different day! When I got home from shopping Stefan and I went to the Bloomington Edge football game for a date night! We haven't had one in such a long time just the 2 of us so it was much needed and so fun!
We were going to go out for pizza but we didn't have time so we ate Avanti's pizza there! We sat in the Bud Light lodge and it was pretty neat! I ended up winning a 16" pizza from Avanti's from a scratch off! There was hardly anyone there so we could so sit anywhere we wanted! We ended up sitting right behind the other team who happened to be from Missouri! Stefan loved it! There were a couple of their players who didn't dress and say right in front of us and Stefan talked to them the whole time! I think it made him miss playing football! We had fun though and will probably be going back to a lot more games if we can!
After the game we made a trip to Walmart! And while we were there I had to pick up another bag of my all time favorite Easter candy! I have eaten 2 bags of these by myself! Pathetic I know, but I can't stop eating them and I have no idea why! They are soo good!
Saturday I went shopping AGAIN with Mom! We went to Peoria and got almost the rest of our wedding stuff! It's such a relief knowing we are almost done with everything and its only the end of March (: Saturday night we went out with our friends again!! We don't usually go out every weekend but we have had something going on every weekend this month, including this weekend!! Some friends of ours Katie and Michael are moving to Arizona so her sister Jess threw them a going away party at the Tap! It was a lot of fun!
Now that Lindsay & I both have glasses we REALLY look like twins! (:
Our friend Justin has been gone for the past month and a half for work and he got home Saturday night and surprised some of us at the Tap! I said some of us because there were a few people that knew! (:
Sam's friend from Bradley Kate came to visit! She was here for New Years Eve and I met her then and we had SO much fun! I was really excited to see her again! (:
I seriously feel so lucky to have such good friends!! (:
Sunday we did absolutely nothing! We never got out of PJ's and just watched the snow storm all day with mom, dad, & the franks! I still can't believe it snowed and it's still cold and it's almost April! I remember last March I was begging my Dad to open our pool because it was in the 80's! That's Illinois for ya! Stefan and I played games on Dad's tablet all afternoon then eventually took a little nap, it was really nice!
The Franks just got a new puppy last week and his name is Henry! He is the cutest puppy and he is so good! He stayed at our house all weekend! I actually missed him today!
I ended up taking a snow day on Monday because there was a drift behind my car and I couldn't get out, so I worked on wedding stuff all day! I got so much stuff done, it's such a relief! I am already ready for this weekend! We are hanging out with our friends again and spending Easter with the family! (:
