Well hello 2013, I have been waiting for you!

Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe 2013 is FINALLY here!!!
 

5 more months until the big and I can't believe it! It feels like we were just telling people "oh we aren't getting married until 2013" and they would say "Oh that's so far away, so you still have time to plan" uhh folks it's just right around the corner and I am already bursting with excitement just thinking about the entire day! I am becoming more and more emotional about it, but very happy emotional! We have been talking about song selections a lot lately and listening to the songs I pick make me crrrry like a baby! One of the songs we chose when we were listening to it Stefan said he even got goosebumps so that makes me VERY happy! (: We mailed these bad boys out a couple weeks ago! I am in love with them and I think everyone else loved them too!!
 

 

I've decided to make this first post of 2013 about my new year's resolutions since I haven't done one yet...shame on me! And speaking of new year's resolutions one of them was to blog a lot more like I use to, I am starting to miss it and I kind of stopped because I like to have pictures in my posts! If I didn't take pictures during something then I don't blog about it because I don't feel like it's worth it without pictures and everyone either will make fun of me or tell me to stop taking pictures of everything weeeeell folks that's about to change just because it's 2013 and we are getting married this year AND hopefully, crossing my fingers and toes, buying a house this spring (: We have actually started looking at houses but just online and we have driven around town to see what there is and there are a couple houses we have seen that we love, but that has stopped too because we are getting our hopes up! We can't afford to live on our own right now while Stefan is in school, which is okay because right now we need to be focusing on our wedding and Stefan finishing his LAST semister of nursing school which started today, so we went out friday night after bowling, totally unplanned but totally fun (:

My other resolution is more photography! I want my photography business a little busier not because of money but because I want to do it more often! I love taking pictures so much! I feel like a little kid when I get someone asking me to take their pictures! It's very encouraging to me that people think I am good enough to take their pictures and I have never gone to school for it! My dad taught me everything I know about my camera and I have taught myself the rest! (: So if you like my photography page, which you should, or am friends with me on facebook I am apologizing right now for the advertisement that is going to be happening a lot this year! And if you so kindly could help me out and help spread the word! My prices are really cheap compared to other photographers because I am not a professional but I love doing it and I want to make it affordable for everyone because I personally know what it feels like not to be able to afford a professional photographer! My goal this year is to capture 5 weddings! I have 2 officially booked, so I need 3 more for 2013 so if there are any 2013 brides out there still looking for an affordable photographer, send them my way (: I will obviously way more than 5 which would be awesome, but 5 is my goal! Last year we did 3 and I loved doing them SO much, I didn't want to leave when our time was up! Speaking of my photography, my first session of 2013 was this adorable 9 day old baby girl Marley! I also decided to do a Couples Mini Session on February 2nd for Valentine's Day! SO if anyone is interested let me know and help spread the word! (:

Another resolution of mine is to spend more time with both families and our friends! I feel like we don't see our friends as often as we should so I definately want to change that! We are with my family a ton which I love but I would like to spend more time with Stefan's side of the family too!! This past weekend we had a family game night at Gma's before Matt & Stefan went back to school! It was so fun!
