We decided to take a few days and go away after the wedding! We definitely needed it! (: We went to the Ozarks and a Cardinal game! It was relaxing and we had a great time but the Ozarks is a place you go with a bunch of people! There were times when we got bored so we got tattoos! (: We opened gifts and had lunch at my grandma's on Sunday then left after that to Missouri!
Day 1 we went shopping to use our gift cards we got from the wedding! (:
In between shopping we went to lunch at Lil' Rizzo's one of our favorite Italian restaurants there!
We decided to stop at Walmart and pick up some steaks to grill out! Stef found a recipe online to put on the steaks and it was terrible! We both hated them and couldn't eat them! We laughed and made it a joke the rest of our trip! (:
After dinner the clouds were rolling in and it was going to storm! It was actually creepy looking!
Day 2 we went to lunch early at The Fish & Co. It's another favorite of ours! They have the world's greatest nachos!
After lunch we headed to the pool to relax all afternoon!
We ended up taking a small nap by the pool and got a little pink but it was so worth it! (: It started clouding up and looked like it was going to rain so we went back up to the room and got ready to go to dinner and to get our tattoos!
I wasn't going to get one but I knew if I didn't get it then I would regret it! But I told Stefan for his graduation he was getting his first tat and he wanted the guys in the Ozarks to do it so we had it done and it looks amazing! He actually did really well! (:
After tats we went to dinner at Franky & Louie's! They had a band playing so we ate, had some drinks, and hung out there for awhile!
On our way back to the condo we stopped for ice-cream! It was the perfect night to end at the Ozarks! I woke up at 5:30ish for no reason and I couldn't go back to sleep and the lake looked amazing and SO peaceful!
When Stef woke up we started to clean and do laundry then headed to St. Louis! We were trying to figure out what we were going to do for 5 hours once we got to St. Louis and we started passing all these billboards for Meramec Caverns so we decided to make a pit stop because we had plenty of time! It was so neat!
Our last and final stop of our Mini Honeymoon was the Cardinal/Cub game!
We saw Yadi hit a homerun and the Cardinals beat the Cubs! We had fun and it was a good game! (: We were glad to be home but we're not very happy about going back to work! :( However, this weekend and week should go pretty fast for us because we will be packing up and moving into our new house next weekend! (: YAY!!!
