Wear Blue for Autism Awareness!

Today and tomorrow is Autism Awareness and Light it Up Blue is asking everyone who supports Autism Awareness to wear Blue today and tomorrow April 1st and 2nd.

On the evenings of April 1 and 2, 2011, prominent buildings across North America and the world, including the Empire State Building in New York City, will turn their lights blue to raise awareness for autism and to commemorate World Autism Awareness Day on Saturday, April 2.

Autism Awareness holds a special place in my family's hearts because we found out in 2010 that my 8 year old nephew Tanner has Aspergers which is a type of Autism. He is the smartest and sweetest kid we know!

So please, everyone wear Blue today and tomorrow and take the pledge to help raise awareness and keep the research going!

We love you Tanner! (:
