4th of July Weekend - Part 1

Our weekend has been busy busy! It's the first weekend we have been able to get in our pool because with everything that happened to my Grandpa and the weather hasn't been the greatest! It's either been to chilly out or cloudy and rainy.

My cousin Mindi and her 3 kids came over Friday night to swim with us and we ordered pizza.  It was hot and humid but the water was perfect!

Cooper loves to be outside!

I had to share this picture of Tanner picking the skin off of Erin's back when she was peeling! It was so funny!

On Saturday Mom and I ran to K-mart because she wanted to buy an umbrella for their table and chairs for the deck and i picked up a volleyball net for the pool! We had so much fun with this! I think we will have volleyball tournaments in the near future!

I told Stefan he probably needed to put sunscreen on because it was his first time being out in the sun all summer so he was burn easily and do you think he listened to me...let's just say he's pretty sore today.

After we swam all day we got ready and went out to eat at Olive Garden then surprised my dad and took him to Lowe's to pick out a grill for a late father's day gift. Then when we got home we went uptown to the carnival so Tanner could ride some rides, I could get the world's greatest corn dog and lemonade shake up and Lindsey G could get a funnel cake.

The corn dog and shake up were amazing, but Lindsey didn't get her funnel cake because they stopped make them for the night.

Tanner and Dad played water race game where you shoot water at a target to make the balloon pop and guess who won...

He picked out a dog and he still doesn't have a name!

Today our plan is to swim again, possibly cook out tonight, then go to the Atlanta fireworks tonight!  We hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!
